Acoustics – Measurements of Sound Pressure Level Emitted by Stationary Road Vehicles

1SCOPE

This Standard specifies the measurement procedure, environment and instrumentation for measuring the exterior sound pressure levels from road vehicles under stationary conditions, when the engine speed changes continuously. This Standard applies only to road vehicles of categories L, M and N equipped with internal combustion engines.

This Standard provides a simple and convenient measurement method by which the reproducibility of sound pressure levels can be made under the operating conditions of the vehicle.

This Standard applies to, when the vehicle is stationary, the methods for measuring the reproducibility of A-weighted sound pressure level within the following scope:

?testing at type approval of vehicle;

?testing at the manufacturing stage;

?testing at the annual inspection;

?testing at roadside sampling inspection.

This Standard specifies neither a method to check the exhaust sound pressure level when the engine is operated at realistic loads nor a method to check the compliance of exhaust sound pressure levels with the noise limits for categories of road vehicles.

3TERMS AND DEFINITIONS

For the purpose of this standard, the following terms and definitions apply.

本标准规定了发动机转速连续变化时，机动车辆定置条件下． 车外噪声声压级测量方法、所需的测试环境和测试所用设备。本标准仅适用于使用内燃机的L 、M 和N 类车辆。

本标准提供了一种在车辆运转状态下，可测量得到l 再现i噪声声压级的简便易行的测量方法。车辆定置时无燃烧运转状态不在本标准的适用范围内。

本标准规定车辆定直时， 适用于以下范围的A 计权声压级再现性测量方法．

一一车辆型式认证时的检测；

一一生产阶段的检测；

一一年检时的检测；

一一路边抽样检测。

标准不适用于测量发动机在实际载荷状态下的排气l噪声，也不适用于检查各类车辆排气噪声限值是否达标。

3.1

L 类车辆vehicle category L

通常为四轮以下的摩托车辆，目前已扩展至一些空载质量较小、车速较低、功率较小的四轮车辆，如L6 类车辆和L7类车辆。

3.1.1

L6 类车辆category L6

四轮车辆， 其空载质量不超过350 kg ，对电动车， 不包括电池的质量， 并且设计的最高车速不超过45 km/ h ，若使用火花（强制〉点火式发动机． 其汽缸排量不超过50 mL ，或使用其它类型内燃发动机，其最大净输出功率不跑过4 kW ，或使用电动发动机，其最大连续额定功率不超过4 kvV 。

3.1.2

L7 类车辆category L7

四轮车辆，与L6 类车辆不同，其空载质量不超过4 00 kg（用于载货的则不超过550 k g），对电动车，不包括电池的质量，并且其最大连续额定功率不超过1 5 kW 。

3.2M 类车辆vehicle category M

至少有四个车轮并且用于载客的机动车辆。

3.3N 类车辆vehicle category N

至少有四个车轮并且用于载货的机动车辆。
