Stimulates adjacent fibroblasts to produce matrix metalloproteinases （MMPS）. May target monocarboxylate transporters SLC16A1, SLC16A3 and SLC16A8 to plasma membranes of retinal pigment epithelium and neural retina. Seems to be a receptor for oligomannosidic glycans. In vitro, promotes outgrowth of astrocytic processes. Application :· Immunohistochemistry: 1:100-500 · ELISA: 1:500-1000 · Western blotting 1:100-500· Optimal working dilutions must be determined by the end user. Storage: Store at –20 oC for one year. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles. The lyophilized antibody is stable at room temperature for at least one month and for greater than a year when kept at -20oC. When reconstituted in sterile pH 7.4 0.01M PBS or diluent of antibody the antibody is stable for at least two weeks at 2-4 oC.
