1. Preface

Thank you for choosing our model series electron tensile tester. Out tester adopts DC speed regulating servomotor and reduction gears as the power source. It real-time displays test data and test status with LCD module. Professional designed servo control system realizes the PWM pulse-width modulation control mode. It really comes up with test speed closed-loop control mode. It is controlled by single chip automatically control. Please read the instruction carefully before operating. Operate it after you understand it. Please take care of it and operate it correctly for the long term operating.

2. Main use and range

It could be used for measurement and test of mechanical property and analytical study of metal, nonmetal and composite material, such as Aviation, petrochemical, machinery manufacture, wire, cable, textile, fiber, plastic, rubber, ceramic, food, medicine packaging, aluminum plastic tube, plastic door and window, geo-textile, film, wood, paper, metal material and manufacture industry, and so on. It can record the max. test force, fracture value, yield value, max. compression value automatically. It can also calculate the fracture extension and all kinds of strength value manually. The RA232 connector can do the function of communicating with computer to do the data work. It is a essential equipment for manufacture, construction unit, product quality supervision and inspection bureau and building material test department. It also could be used in the University for teaching.

4. Work condition

In the temperature range of room temperature 10℃ to 35℃, relative moisture no higher than 80%

No shaking, no corrosive medium and no electromagnetic field

The variation range of power voltage should be no higher than ±10% rated.

The main frame must be earthed

Well ventilation for the electric control part.

5. Structure introduction

The machine is a machine of electromechanical integration. It is mainly composed by 1. main frame; 2. strong electricity operating panel; 3. tensile assistant tool; 4. load sensor; 5. compression assistant tool. See the outlook on picture 1.

Main frame part

The main frame part (see picture 2) is a transmission part of the machine. It offers test space which accords with standard. All the tensile and compression assistant tools must be fixed on the main frame to do all kinds of test. It mainly including: 1. base; 2. work table; 3. movable cross beam; 4. load sensor; 5. upper beam and so on. Work table is the main support part of the main frame. All the transmission parts are all fixed on the table. The motor reducer system is fixed on the back of the work table. The output of reducer is connected with double precision lead screw on the work table by the Synchronous Belt. The motor drives the lead screw rotating. There fixed a nut on the lead screw. The nut and cross beam are fixed into one body. Rotate the lead screw to move the movable cross beam up and down. All tests are realized by the moving of the movable cross beam. The load sensor is fixed on the movable cross beam. There is a photoelectric encoder on the top end of the up beam. The encoder is connected to the lead screw by the axis pin. It can measure the displacement of movable cross beam accurately.

Electrical appliance control part

The electrical appliance control part is including two parts, strong electricity operating panel and electrical appliance control cabinet. See the strong electricity operating panel on the picture 5. it including emergency stop and motor switch button It is one part of the strong electricity control part together with strong electricity. See the electrical appliance control cabinet operating button on picture 6. It is the control core of the system. All the test operation is all done these buttons.

Tensile assistant tool

See the tensile assistant tool on the picture 3. It is including 1. connection flange plate; 2. connection pin; 3. rotation handle; 4. jaw; 6. clamp pressure platen; 7. sensor pulling pole. The connection flange plate is fixed on the cross beam by bolt. The connection pin connects the jaw and certain parts together. You can move the jaw from the main frame easily by pulling the pin out. The rotation handle is used for adjusting the open angle. Clamp the specimen by rotating the handle. The clamp pressure platen is used for pressing the jaw, guarantee the concentricity of the jaw. The sensor pulling pole is the connecting part of assistant tool and sensor. It can transmit the bearing force to the load sensor well.

Compression assistant tool

See the compression assistant tool on picture 4. It is including upper and lower pressure platens. The upper platen is connected to the connecting sleeve and fixed by bolt. The lower platen is put on the work table directly by the position pin. The compression assistant tool is used for doing the compression test.

Stroke limiting device.

See the stroke limiting device on picture 7. It is including 1. stroke switch; 2. stoke hoe; 3. limiting pole; 4. limiting block; 5. moving part. The adjustment of movable cross beam is done by adjusting the limiting block.

6. Installation and calibration

6.1 The device and accessories are all packed in the case. Check the outer packing first before open. After taking out the technical document, check all the parts and check them with the packing list.

6.2 Put the main frame on the strong concrete ground. Fix the controller on the main frame according to the picture 1.

6.3 The power supply is single phase AC, the power is about 900W. Connect all the wires according to picture 8.

Notice: the machine must be earthed reliably. Otherwise the single chip machine would be “Dead Halt” easily.

6.4 Rotate the “stop emergency” button on the strong electricity panel after connect to power to see whether the system works normally.

6.5 Fix the needed assistant tools on the main frame.

7. Operation

7.1 Power on and preheat it for about 15 minutes

7.2 Put the specimen on the assistant tool, fix the upper end rigidly. Clear the load, peak value, and displacement. Then fix the lower end. Choose the best gear according to the estimated max. test force value and then choose the test speed according to National Standard.

7.3 Press “↓” to start test. Sometimes it is need to press “stop” button to stop moving after fracture when do the tensile test. So press “stop” button first after fracture. Take record for the needed original data.

7.4 Repeat 7.2, 7.3, and 7.4 to continue the following test.

8. Maintenance

8.1 Pay attention to the movable cross beam position during the test to guarantee the best test space.

8.2 Lubricate the lead screw every month. Check the lubrication in the reducer frequently. Change the lubrication oil after the reducer works 3800h. The number of lubrication oil is G-N320.

8.3 Keep the machine clean.

8.4 Turn off the power switch immediately when the Abnormal Phenomena comes out when operating.

9. Common fault and solution

9.1 The system displays clobber, cut off the power and restart the single chip machine.

9.2 The screen does not work after starting; this is because the wire is not connected correctly.

9.3 The motor can not be started; this is because the limiting switch is in the status of working. (See the limiting block on picture 7)
